0 Grapeview, WA Grapeview, WA Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time From $20 an hour From $20 an hour 6 days ago 6 days ago 6 days ago CAMPGROUND PARK RANGER - MAINTENANCE AND GROUNDS Lake Trask Timber Trails Association is a gated, private recreational campground located in Mason County near Mason Lake between Shelton and Belfair, Washington.
The property is on 160 wooded acres that includes close to 600 campsites, a motor-free lake, heated swimming pool, sauna, lodge with game room, workshop, sport courts and restrooms throughout the park.
The park has its own well and water supply.
Responsibilities Park Rangers report to the Park Manager, working independently and as a part of the Lake Trask team.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Completing work orders and projects as assigned.
Assist in the construction and maintenance of park buildings and structures.
Perform daily rounds of campsites and maintain accurate records.
Assist in the enforcement of park rules and regulations as required/instructed.
Provide courteous and helpful assistance to members and guests.
Required Skills Must be proficient in construction and/or property maintenance related skills including:
? Electrical ? Plumbing ? Sheetrock ? Carpentry ? Roofing Ability to demonstrate the safe operation and maintenance of various equipment including chain saws, log splitters, weed whackers, etc.
Experience operating tractors and small backhoes.
Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 45 lbs.
, and to use repetitive motion, reach, lift, kneel, walk, and stand for several hours at a time.
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in an efficient, organized, and timely manner.
Strong work ethic with a high level of self-motivation and reliability.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Attention to details.
Important Notes Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
This is a Non-Law Enforcement position.
A full background check will be completed on all qualified applicants.
CPR and First Aid training is a plus.
